Who Should Attend
The daytime sessions Monday through Friday are designed for lawyers with more than basic experience in estate planning. The course also features an optional Sunday afternoon overview session (at no additional charge) on wealth transfer taxation principles.
Time is reserved throughout the program to address registrants’ questions.

Here's what registrants have said about this course:
The best estate planning program I have attended in over 30 years. I wish I had discovered it long ago. Professor Pennell is, simply, the best instructor I have ever had the privilege of learning from.--George L. Kiskunas, Virchow Krause & Co LLP, Janesville, WisconsinThis was my first experience with ALI-ABA and it has been great. The campus is lovely, the program diverse and the faculty very friendly. I also really appreciate the ability to mingle with attorneys from other states and the hospitality has been great, too.--Rebecca Gardner, McDonough Holland & Allen PC, Sacramento, CaliforniaThis was a very helpful conference for those of us in the non-profit planned giving area. I am dealing with collateral estate planning issues all the time with our donors, and this conference will help me with these in many areas.--Jonathan P. Siner, Lyric Opera ChicagoThis was a very well run program in all respects. The presentations and content of written material were excellent. The dorm accommodations were a great place to meet colleagues and were surprisingly nice. I would stay in the dorm again. Madison is a great location to have a seminar with the hiking/biking/running trails, many restaurants within easy walking distance and the beautiful lakes. The on-site course administration was excellent. The networking event, snacks, drinks, etc. were very good. It was very easy to get to know other attendees. I hope to come to another ALI-ABA CLE in Madison. It has been well worth the travel, time, and expense. The dorm accommodations were outstanding and very economical. The residence hall food was great—delicious, healthy and lots of choices. The course was very informative. While I have been practicing for several years, I recently changed to the estate planning practice area. I feel the course has helped me come up to speed in a variety of areas. The materials are an excellent source to return to as the information is pieced together. Madison is a great city (my first time here). I would not hesitate to recommend the course to colleagues, nor will I hesitate to take another ALI-ABA course. Keep up the good work!I thought the program was very well done, well structured, and topic coverage was great and at the perfect level for my estate planning practice expertise.
